The Osówka underground complex in Poland is both Hitler’s most expansive home and last place of residency. Even today, it’s unclear what purpose the structure was meant to have. Various theories exist, however, that say the complex was meant to be Hitler’s secret headquarters, the halls were meant for making secret nuclear weapons, or that this space was used as a research laboratory. Apart from the workers, the Osówka complex was primarily built by prisoners from the Gross-Rosen concentration camp. You can learn of their fate by visiting Osówka. You will also get to see the underground corridors, bunkers, and defence systems from WWII. The tour includes an audio guide in Czech.
